Mental Health Solutions
One can be forgiven for likening the Mount Horeb Prayer Center to a typical psychiatric hospital due to the prophet’s commitment to providing mental health solutions to Ghana and beyond.
Not only does he pray for persons with mental disabilities to regain their health, sanity but has also established a well regulated sanatorium to cater for such persons including their feeding, clothing and other assistance just to mention a few.
In the same vein, Prophet Okai collaborated with the Department of Psychiatry of the University of Ghana Medical School to conduct research on psychotropic medication for patients with severe mental illness which yielded results.
